CONGRATULATIONS to all of the athletes who competed in last years events. Results can be viewed by clicking on the 2008 Results button located on the left of this page. Over 191 athletes qualified for the 2009 National Senior Games in SanFransico!!!

If you are planning to compete at the National Senior Games in SanFransico and want to stay where other MN athletes are staying, you should make reservations at the Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel. Cost is $160 per night, single or double. A limited number of rooms are available and are on a 1st come basis. To reserve your room contact Anthony Travel at 1-800-766-6377.

The Super 8 Palo Alto hotel is offering Minnesota Athletes a rate of $104.95 for one Queen bed, $135.95 for two double beds and $149.95 for two queens. Availability of rooms are limited and are on a first come basis. Reservations must be made by contacting the following:

The Minnesota Senior Games will take place in Alexandria, MN, July 20-24, 2009. The games will have several venues, as well as a lot of social activities each evening. Registration booklets will be mailed out in May of 2009 to all past participants of the Senior Games. Athletes may also request a registration form be mailed to them by calling (320) 762-2868. The 2009 Minnesota Senior Games will NOT be a qualifying site for 2009 National Senior Games.. The 2008 Minnesota Games held last summer was the qualifying site for the 2009 National Senior Games. There are no National Senior Games until 2011. The national Games are held every two years. It is expected that over 400 athletes will compete in the 2009 Minnesota Senior Games to earn a State medal.
