Participants should register according to their age as of 12/31/14.
Age groups are: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you after your entry is received. If you do not have an e-mail address, you will receive a confirmation phone call. Allow one week for processing.

Packet pick up will be at the Kick Off Party at University of Saint Thomas on Friday, August 1. Food and live entertainment will be availble, tickets for the BBQ will be $20.00/each, you can pre pay by selecting how many tickets you'd like while registering, or you can pay when you arrive.
If you cannot attend the Kick Off Party, your athlete information will be available for you before the start of your first event. ie. if you have registered for pickleball along with cycling, your packet will be at the High Performance Academy waiting for you when you check in for pickleball because it is on August 1,2,3 and cycling is on August 9.
Participants should be at their event venue 15 minutes prior to the starting tim. Participants are allowed and encouraged to enter more than one event, but do so at their own risk as schedule changes cannot be made to accommodate sports that occur simultaneously. Please plan accordingly.

In the event of inclement weather or unusual/extenuating circumstances, Senior Game Officials reserve the right to change the format of the competition, postpone events, or cancel. Refunds will only be given due to inclement weather. Refunds will only be granted if requested prior to July 2, 2014.
Medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age category at the event venue. The Minnesota Senior Games are open to out-of-state residents.
Competition must take place to determine and award winner. If there is only one individual entered in an age group, that athlete must enter and complete the event in order to receive a medal. That athlete will be placed in closest age category to compete with, but not against, those athletes.
The 2014 Minnesota Senior Games is a qualifying year for the National Senior Games. The 2015 National Senior Games are scheduled to take place in Minnesota, July 3 - 16, 2015 within Bloomington, Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
There will be no day-of registration. Registration needs to done online by July 21, 2014, or postmarked July 14, 2014. The registration fee includes up to 5 events (track and field is considered 1 and so is swimming). There will be an additional $5 fee for competing in each event 6 and higher.
There will be addtional fees for bowling, golf, cycling and swimming which will be paid on site.
