Age groups are: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89

Registration and packet pick-up will be open from Thursday - Saturday 7am- 4pm and Sunday 7am-10am in the Johnson Alumni Room located in the Taylor Center on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato. All participants must check-in prior to arriving at their specific sporting event for competition. You will get the information you need and t-shirts at the packet pick-up.
Participants should be at their event venue 15 minutes prior to the starting time. Participants are allowed and encouraged to enter more than one event, but do so at their own risk as schedule changes cannot be made to accommodate sports that occur simultaneously. Please plan accordingly.

In the event of inclement weather or unusual/extenuating circumstances, Senior Game officials reserve the right to change the format of the competition, postpone events, or cancel. Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis by the local organizing committee of the 2018 MN Senior State Games. Refund requests must be submitted with a formal request letter including explanation for refund request to MSG LOC, Attn: Visit Mankato, 12 Civic Center Plaza Suite 1645, Mankato, MN 56001. Not all refund requests are guaranteed for refund.
Medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age category at the event venue. The Minnesota Senior Games are open to out-of-state residents.
Competition must take place to determine and award winner. If there is only one individual entered in an age group, that athlete must enter and complete the event in order to receive a medal. That athlete will be placed in closest age category to compete with, but not against, those athletes.
This is a qualifying year for the Nationals in 2019.
There will be no day-of registration. Registration needs to done online or by mail. Online registration closes at midnight on Friday, August 10th, 2018 and paper registrations must be postmarked by Monday, August 6th, 2018. The registration fee includes up to five events (track and field is considered one and so is swimming). There will be an additional $5 fee per sport for competing in more than five events.
There will be additional fees for bowling, golf, and shooting which will be paid on site.
